1 long lap welding

Lap welding refers to misaligned bonding that occurs when two edges of a tube blank are stacked together. In terms of length, the length of the lap welds is lap length, and the length of the lap weld is usually a few meters or even longer. There is a slight misalignment of a few millimetres in the dislocation, and there is a complete misalignment equal to the wall thickness. The main reasons for the long-pass lap welding are as follows: 1 The axial movement of the squeezing roller 2 The bearing is damaged. 3 The squeezing roller shaft is bent. 4 The squeezing force is large. 5 The guide roller is tilted.
 

2 cycle lap welding

Longitudinal lap welds in straight seam welders are intermittent, sometimes absent, sometimes with slightly longer lap lengths, several centimeters or even tens of centimeters, and sometimes shorter, one or two centimeters or less. Occasionally, lap welding occurs at regular equidistant intervals, sometimes irregularly. Periodic lap welding usually occurs in the middle and late stages of production, mainly due to the following reasons:

1 Breakage of the guide ring 2 Wear of the hole type 3 Hole-shaped foreign material on the arc 4 Swing 5 Damage to the bearing


 3 slits

Slotting refers to the fact that the welds are not bonded together. The length of the slits is generally a few centimeters or more. The main reasons are as follows:
